Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including network and security areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with experience in networks, firewall technologies, and Microsoft Server operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure
  • Manage and configure routers, switches, load balancers, VPN gateways, and DHCP/DNS infrastructure
  • Administer firewall systems, endpoint protection platform, internet access, WAN, and WLAN networks
  • Handle security and monitoring systems
  • Provide 2nd-level support and troubleshoot networks
  • Analyze and resolve incidents involving security
  • Suggest continuous improvements based on analyses and security events
  • Create and expand guidelines for network operations
  • Document IT infrastructure changes

Requirements

  • Completed IT-related education or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience in networks
  • Experience with firewall technologies
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Server operating systems
  • Proficiency in German
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Professional and service-oriented mindset
  • Past experience in IT-related roles such as system administrator, network administrator, or IT security consultant
