IT Network Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking an IT Network Specialist to join our team at DB Zeitarbeit GmbH in Berlin. As an IT Network Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing network architectures and topologies for our railway stations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document existing network architectures and topologies
- Design and implement new network architectures and topologies
- Develop and document solutions to migrate from current to future state
- Evaluate technical concepts in IT architecture, infrastructure, and operations and provide recommendations to projects, departments, and regional contacts
- Conduct risk management by evaluating and documenting technical risks and providing guidance on mitigation options
- Provide guidance on security best practices for network operations
- Ensure cost estimation for technical solutions in projects
- Develop and maintain technical documents (e.g., operation concepts for IT infrastructure and networks)
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Business Informatics or equivalent experience in the IT field
- Proven experience in at least 3 projects with similar requirements in network planning and development
- Proven certification in network protocols and solutions as well as active network technology
- Project management knowledge such as PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA, Scrum Master, or Product Owner certification
- 5 years of practical experience in operating complex data networks
- Knowledge of IT operations and IT service management (ITIL framework) and IT security (e.g., ISO 27000, VdS 10000, CISIS12)
- Experience with methodological competence, modeling, process models, and agile methods such as Scrum, SaFe, etc.
- A structured and goal-oriented way of working rounds out your profile
- This job can be performed in agreement with your supervisor in a home office setting in Germany
