About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials and Process Engineer to join our team at OSB AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Product Assurance Manager in ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Be responsible for M&P topics related to electronic component assembly, from supplier evaluation to customer and supplier assessments.
  • Conduct Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Equipment Qualification Status Review (EQSR), and Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR).
  • Be responsible for the Materials and Process Control Board (MPCB) for electronic component assembly from suppliers.
  • Be responsible for M&P evaluation and support for providing PA documents (RFA, RFD, RFW, NCRs) in accordance with ECSS standards.
  • Perform MIPs (Mandatory Inspection Points) on populated printed circuit boards.
  • Be responsible for supporting the EM/EQM phase of a project in implementing modifications in the area of electronics assembly.
  • Be the personal interface to PA and customers.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Bring relevant experience in material validation and implementation and control of processes.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of electronics assembly technology (soldering processes) of electronic components.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of ECSS and/or IPC standards.
  • Bring knowledge of quality management systems such as EN 9001 and EN 9100, which would be an advantage.
  • Have an analytical way of thinking.
  • Have an independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working.
  • Bring high engagement in collaboration with multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have a good team spirit.
  • Have verifiable German and English language skills.
