Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Natural Carbon Project Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing and assessing natural carbon projects, developing project design documents, and managing our existing project portfolio to meet client demand.
Your Responsibilities
- Sourcing and assessment of natural carbon projects, including financial due diligence
- Elaboration of project design documents and support of carbon certification cycles
- Responsible management of our existing project portfolio to meet client demand
- Gathering intelligence about market trends, relevant regulation, and policies
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- University degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in sustainable land use and carbon markets
- Proven experience of simultaneous management of different projects in an international team
- Experience in the preparation of business and financial plans for natural carbon projects or similar
- Fluent in English and Spanish or French, additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel
- Professional experience in Latin America, Africa, or South-East Asia is an advantage

Contract Details
The position is entitled as full-time. The contract can be structured as a freelance or permanent position depending on the circumstances. Workplace in the European Union preferred / Latin America possible.
