As the Director of Service Operations

  • You will take ownership of our services division, overseeing the profit center KPIs related to After Sales services (such as order and bid pipeline, revenue, EBIT, ROI, and cash flow);
  • Your role involves driving our core services business (including repair center operations and obsolescence management) while defining, implementing, and expanding new service offerings;
  • You will be the senior leader responsible for formulating, developing, and executing the comprehensive After Sales Services business strategy;
  • You will collaborate with Sales & Marketing to manage the Go-to-market strategy and engage with key clients, ensuring seamless service delivery by coordinating with other departments as necessary;
  • You will exemplify effective leadership by motivating and inspiring your teams while enhancing their skills;
  • You will report directly to the General Manager and maintain continuous collaboration with departments related to Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Sales.

  • Extensive experience in leading, motivating, and inspiring diverse teams;
  • A balance of long-term strategic vision with the ability to enhance short-term operational efficiency;
  • Technologically adept with a solid understanding of financial KPIs;
  • A relevant university degree and/or MBA;
  • Experience with IoT and SaaS, and/or familiarity with rail operations is advantageous;
  • Fluency in English and German (or a willingness to learn quickly).
