Logistics Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Production Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of state-of-the-art naval vessels to our customers. Your primary focus will be on coordinating the receipt, inspection, and registration of shipments, as well as resolving any issues that may arise during the logistics process.

• Inspect each received shipment for completeness and deviations, and perform rejection procedures as needed.
• Register and verify each received and accepted shipment in our logistics production software tool.
• Resolve issues addressed by the building team onsite, by identifying and registering the issue and contacting the supplier(s) and Damen Naval HQ.
• Continuously improve and oversee work processes to increase effectiveness.
• Support and coordinate with the acceptance of Government furnished equipment (GFE), spare parts, or tools.

• Vocational education in Logistics with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in shipbuilding.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle independently and effectively any operational or technical problems.
• Proven success in creating constructive and effective relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Exceptional communication skills, actively listening and answering in a friendly and constructive manner.
• Native German language command, along with proficient English command.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, striving to achieve the best win-win solution and result.
• Professional experience working with warehouse and production software (SAP PP/PLM).
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) policies and procedures.
