Job Overview In this thesis, you will focus on developing model-based reinforcement learning strategies aimed at controlling permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs). You will assess the effectiveness of the proposed control strategies through simulation. Additionally, you will conduct a comparative analysis with existing state-of-the-art controllers.

Required Qualifications

Education: Enrollment in a program related to Cybernetics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field. Experience and Knowledge: Proficiency in Python, preferably with experience in deep learning frameworks, along with a solid understanding of machine learning and control theory. Familiarity with electrical machines is a plus. Personal Attributes and Work Style: Independent, analytical, and systematic thinker. Language Proficiency: Strong command of English or German.

Additional Information

Duration: 6 months

To qualify for this thesis, you must be enrolled at a university. Please include your CV, academic transcripts, examination regulations, and if applicable, a valid work and residence permit.
