Master Thesis in Reinforcement Learning for Multiple-Embodiment Grasping

Robert Bosch GmbH is seeking a highly motivated research assistant to contribute to the development of advanced robotics solutions.
Project Overview
The successful candidate will design and implement architectures and pipelines for transferring current methods to online reinforcement learning algorithms. This will involve creating RL environments for multi-embodiment grasping using our grasp dataset generation pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement reinforcement learning architectures and pipelines
- Create RL environments for multi-embodiment grasping
- Benchmark current state-of-the-art approaches in robotics grasping
- Work under the supervision of research staff to guide the thesis
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence
- Proficiency in Python, Machine Learning, and physics simulators
- Familiarity with high-level graphics libraries is a plus
- Goal-oriented and analytical mindset
- Fluency in written and spoken German or English
