Financial Controller

We are seeking a dedicated Controller (m/w/d) to enhance our financial operations at Stadtwerke Oberursel-Konzern, a municipal energy provider committed to improving regional quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting financial assessments of current business sectors and formulating actionable insights for both operational and strategic decision-making
• Monitoring key performance indicators, overseeing budget adherence, and performing financial planning analyses
• Developing quarterly, annual, and multi-year financial plans, along with variance and ad hoc analyses
• Improving cost accounting and reporting functions for various business units
• Engaging in diverse projects to support business growth and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Degree in finance, controlling, or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in controlling, ideally within the energy sector
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with SAP and Kosy is advantageous
• Ability to work independently with a structured approach
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
