General Ledger Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing accurate balance sheet, general ledger, and asset accounting processes
  • Ensuring timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with commercial, tax, and IFRS standards, along with internal Group policies
  • Managing the recording and upkeep of fixed assets
  • Conducting reconciliations with sub-ledgers to maintain accuracy
  • Compiling data for our parent organization, annual financial reports, tax audits, insurance providers, and statistical documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training with a qualification as an accountant (IHK)
  • Several years of relevant experience in external accounting preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of the SAP/R3 FI module
  • Competent in all standard MS Office applications
  • Excellent command of both German and English languages
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player
  • High degree of dedication and motivation
  • Ability to perform under pressure, working independently and autonomously
