Safety Specialist

• Conduct thorough inspections of operational facilities, equipment, and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Identify and propose corrective measures to address defects and hazards in the workplace.
• Develop and implement effective personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines to ensure employee safety.
• Analyze data and investigate causes of workplace accidents to recommend preventative measures.
• Provide expert guidance to management on workplace safety and health issues.
• Collaborate with company physicians and works councils to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Participate in regular health and safety meetings to discuss and implement safety initiatives.
• Develop and deliver training programs for employees, external companies, and subcontractors on health and safety best practices.
• Create and maintain accurate records and documents for the Health and Safety department.
• Manage budgets and costs for the Health and Safety department to ensure effective resource allocation.
• Develop and execute safety campaigns to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Work closely with the Health and Safety team to introduce, promote, and develop health and safety initiatives, processes, and global corporate standards.
• Assist in planning and executing audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

• Technical vocational training in a relevant field.
• Training as a safety specialist or willingness to complete this training.
• Professional experience in a technical field.
• Proficiency in MS-Office and SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in German (B2) and English (B1).
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
