About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PET Collaboration Scientist to join our team at Siemens Healthineers AG. As a key member of our Molecular Imaging team, you will be responsible for supporting major academic sites in EMEA that use our PET systems in conducting scientific research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting academic sites in EMEA with conducting scientific research using Siemens Healthineers PET systems
  • Defining and contributing to the success of research projects between Siemens Healthineers and assigned collaborator sites
  • Leading to scientific publications, either as an author or co-author
  • Driving the validation of technical concepts for future product integration and continuous collection of feedback for prototypes
  • Representing the Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging Business Line in international conferences
Requirements
  • PhD in Medical Physics or similar discipline
  • Several years of proven experience in PET imaging
  • Solid clinical experience with PET systems
  • Sound knowledge of PET reconstruction, kinetic modelling, and machine learning applications in medical imaging
  • Experience in designing research studies and publication list, including co-author articles in international scientific peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience in presenting work in front of a scientific audience
Attributes and Skills
  • Very good English language knowledge
  • Strong communication skills and can-do approach
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 40% of working time
