As a PET Collaboration Scientist, you'll play a crucial role in our Molecular Imaging team, working closely with leading academic sites in EMEA to execute research programs with our PET systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Support major academic sites in EMEA with conducting scientific research using Siemens Healthineers PET systems.
  • Define and contribute to the success of research projects between Siemens Healthineers and assigned collaborator sites.
  • Drive the validation of technical concepts for future product integration and continuous collection of feedback for prototypes.
  • Represent the Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging Business Line in international conferences.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
  • PhD in Medical Physics or a similar discipline.
  • Several years of proven experience in PET imaging.
  • Solid clinical experience with PET systems.
  • Sound knowledge of PET reconstruction, with additional experience in kinetic modeling and/or machine learning applications in medical imaging a major plus.
  • Experience in designing research studies and a publication list, including co-author articles in international scientific peer-reviewed journals.
Your Attributes and Skills:
  • Excellent English language knowledge, with German language knowledge a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a can-do approach to provide technical advice to key users and present work in front of a scientific audience.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 40% of working time for internal/external meetings and conferences.
