As an International HR Strategy Partner at Bauer Media Group, you will play a pivotal role within our Group HR division. This strategic position involves working closely with essential stakeholders across various Group Functions, such as Finance and Technology, to ensure that business strategies are effectively aligned with human resource management goals across all Bauer locations.

You will collaborate with HR teams in Publishing and Audio, as well as with our Centers of Expertise, which include Compensation & Benefits, People & Culture, Organizational Design, and Strategy & Transformation, to create and execute impactful HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic consultant to key stakeholders in Group functions (Finance/Tech) to synchronize business and human resource strategies.
  • Formulate and execute HR strategies and initiatives that bolster business objectives and enhance organizational performance.
  • Partner with the Transformation Enablement team to facilitate cultural transformation and organizational change.
  • Support initiatives related to organizational design and change management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee organizational restructuring, role clarity, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Expertise to lead talent management processes, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Identify and address talent shortages and developmental needs.
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to guide decision-making and assess the impact of HR initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of engagement and inclusion through various initiatives and programs.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or consultant in a dynamic, international setting, with extensive knowledge in areas such as organizational development, talent management, change management, and employee relations.
  • An inspiring HR leader who can assertively unite and motivate team members, thriving in a virtual matrix organization.
  • Process-oriented and data-driven, with strong strategic thinking and financial insight.
  • Experience working with Centers of Expertise and HRIS tools (preferably SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Committed to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest HR trends, practices, and legal requirements.
  • Proactive with a hands-on approach and readiness to engage in practical tasks when necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to persuade and confidently engage in discussions.
