We are looking for a skilled **Purchasing Specialist (m/w/d)** to enhance our Strategic Procurement team within the Construction sector. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to significant projects in one of Europe's leading university hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting the complete preparation, execution, and documentation of procurement processes in compliance with Public Procurement Law and internal policies using an eProcurement system.
- Managing price inquiries and evaluating offers for compliance and accuracy.
- Creating purchase orders in SAP for construction and design services, as well as for goods and services.
- Providing support and guidance to departments regarding contract awards and associated tender documentation.
- Executing organizational and coordination tasks while maintaining communication and negotiations with suppliers.
- Proactively addressing issues as they arise.
- Adhering to established process flows and enhancing existing workflows within your area of responsibility.
- Approving orders in SAP and resolving invoice discrepancies when necessary.
- Participating in supplier management initiatives.
- Commercial or technical training or relevant studies.
- Experience in procurement, particularly with public sector clients is advantageous.
- Familiarity with procurement laws and regulations (including GWB, VgV, VOL/UVgO, and VOB), with knowledge of BerlAVG and related regulations (BGB, HGB, LHO) being a plus.
- Proven experience in purchasing construction and design services and/or goods and services.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP MM/PM is desirable.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and results-driven work ethic.
- Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility and reliability.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
The competitive salary is aligned with the collective agreement of Charité CFM, with classification based on qualifications and experience.
