About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing Specialist for Raw Materials to join our dynamic team at KoRo Handels GmbH. As a key member of our Sourcing Department, you will play a crucial role in the procurement of high-quality raw materials for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the structuring and implementation of projects in raw materials purchasing, with a strong focus on global sourcing.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement the purchasing strategy for various product groups in the area of raw materials.
  • Identify cost reduction potentials in the supply chain and support the derivation and implementation of initiatives.
  • Participate in the selection and qualification of new suppliers and products.
  • Contribute to the optimization of processes and tools for the ongoing improvement of purchasing processes.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in the retail/FMCG sector, preferably with initial experience in global raw materials purchasing.
  • Degree in business administration, economics, or a similar field, or equivalent apprenticeship.
  • Excellent command of English and German.
  • Strategic and data-driven mindset, with the ability to make informed decisions based on thorough analyses.
  • High level of structure and organization, with the ability to manage complex tasks and projects responsibly.
  • Hands-on mentality and perseverance, with a strong focus on results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
