We are seeking a committed and innovative Materials and Business Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our fulfillment center, focusing on the Isolation Valves business unit, where collaboration with various Emerson teams across Europe is essential for assembling and delivering tailored solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring stringent control over budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Formulate and implement strategic policies for planning, procurement, and supply chain management, with a focus on inventory optimization initiatives.
- Enhance planning processes and improve Oracle systems to boost accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Finance, to develop precise monthly and quarterly shipment forecasts and budgets, emphasizing timely delivery and cost management.
- Balance cost efficiency with resource utilization, optimizing both local and global resources.
- Lead teams responsible for Master Scheduling, Purchasing, and Material Management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Maintain robust supplier relationships to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials and timely deliveries, supporting the overall supply chain strategy.
- Encourage a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, proactively identifying and addressing root causes of issues.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments, including Sales, Operations, and Finance, to align activities with organizational objectives and deliver exceptional customer value.
You are an organized and proactive professional with a background in materials management or supply chain roles. Your expertise in optimizing inventory, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials is commendable. Strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively across teams. You are dedicated to continuous improvement and uphold high standards in safety and quality. With a solid understanding of budgeting and cost control, you are eager to thrive in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in English is essential for working within a global team and contributing to operational success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Leadership and Operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, developed through effective collaboration across functions and levels.
- Adaptability to changing business priorities and market dynamics.
- Financial acumen, ensuring effective cost management.
- Experience in a matrix organization.
- Fluency in English.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration.
