Knowledge Management Software Engineer

Company Overview: 00100 LEIDOS, INC. is seeking a skilled Knowledge Management Software Developer to support our mission in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview: This role is pivotal in enhancing the operational capabilities of our Department of Defense initiatives. We are in search of experienced and innovative engineers specializing in DoD365 and Power Platform to contribute to mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily engineering support for Knowledge Management initiatives aimed at improving business processes.
  • Develop and maintain client-side and server-side applications, ensuring accuracy and interoperability in pre-production and production environments.
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements, propose effective solutions, and fulfill ad-hoc requests.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, presenting ideas and products in a professional manner.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment requiring teamwork and coordination.
  • Engage with client managers and system users to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Showcase SharePoint 2019 and Power Platform application development solutions to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Utilize modern client-side technologies, including JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Bootstrap, and React, within the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of common object models such as JSON, CSOM, and REST.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to colleagues.
  • Offer remote support and travel to customer sites as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 7 years, or a major certification with 9 years, or 13 years of specialized experience.
  • Current Microsoft certification – PL-900.
  • Current CompTIA Security + certification (IAT Level II or higher).
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React, SharePoint API, REST, CSOM, and modern client-side development methodologies.
  • Experience with SharePoint and DoD365 Power Platform.
  • Understanding of Agile software development practices.
  • Active Secret security clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and Visual Studio Code IDE.
  • MS PL-900 or equivalent certification.
  • Ability to adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense military standards and IT security requirements.
  • Experience in a Microsoft DevOps environment, including Git source control and agile software development teams.
  • Working knowledge of MS Dataverse or MS Dynamics CRM.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is between $81,000 and $146,875. This range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Factors influencing the offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
