Our VisionZEISS aims to standardize and regularize different ERP systems, from numerous companies across the entire Group during the changeover from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. The goal is to be as close as possible to the SAP standard and to harmonize processes across all segments and countries wherever it makes sense, focusing around; Efficiency, Effectivity, Speed, Flexibility & Compliance.
Your RoleAs IT Project Manager for the segment Industrial Quality Research, you will be part of one of the global implementation teams of the SAP S/4HANA implementation at ZEISS. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, coordinating and supervising development activities (e.g., RIEFW1 objects), in alignment with the global SAP development factory, for multiple SAP S/4HANA deployment projects within a regional hub.
- Understanding and evaluating business requirements and functional/technical specifications from the end-to-end business workstreams.
- Acting as a link between solution architects from end-to-end workstreams and development team(s) to clarify functional/technical questions.
- Actively steering development team(s) for the implementation of gaps (i.e., RIEFW1 objects) based on functional/technical specifications.
- Ensuring adequate development documentation and performing quality measures for developed objects (e.g., conducting code reviews).
- Generating regular reports detailing progress of development activities for associated deployment projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in business.
- Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven ability to lead a team of SAP development resources.
- Excellent technical know-how in SAP implementation and related technologies as well as extensive understanding of FIT4 application development guidelines.
- Relevant SAP and technical certifications as well as relevant industry knowledge.
- Excellent conceptual, results-oriented and communication skills.
- Ability to build networks and keenness to work in intercultural and interdisciplinary global team.
- Business fluent in English and good German language skills.
- Willingness to travel.
