Tax Compliance Specialist

Role Responsibilities: As a Tax Analyst, you will engage in projects related to tax and transfer pricing disputes, assisting the team in crafting timely and precise responses to inquiries from tax authorities across the EMEA region. Your responsibilities will also encompass strategic considerations regarding tax audits, litigation, Mutual Agreement Procedures, and Advanced Pricing Agreements.
Key Duties:
- Gathering essential data for preparing responses to tax authorities from various departments within Eaton, including Finance, Treasury, and International Tax.
- Assisting in the calculation of reserves for EMEA tax positions.
- Providing support for ad-hoc projects and initiatives based on business requirements.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred, although other degrees may be considered if relevant experience in transfer pricing or taxation is demonstrated.
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transfer pricing or international tax, acquired either in a similar role within the industry or in a consulting capacity, is required.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential, while fluency in German is advantageous, as interactions with tax authorities may often occur in the local language.
Technical Skills: Candidates must be adept in standard software applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling being beneficial.
