Veterinary Anesthesiologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Small Animal Clinic of the Animal Hospital Freie Universität Berlin. As a Veterinary Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to our patients, including outpatients, inpatients, and surgical patients.
Responsibilities:
• Providing anesthesia care for small animals and pets, including pre-anesthetic evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery
• Collaborating with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans
• Conducting research in the field of small animal anesthesia and pain management
• Teaching and training veterinary students and residents in anesthesia and pain management
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
• Doctorate in veterinary medicine
• Veterinary license to practice medicine
• Board certification in veterinary anesthesiology or equivalent
• At least three years of experience in veterinary anesthesia
