Currently, Dolby Laboratories is looking for a professional to spearhead the Market Development initiative within our automotive division, collaborating closely with automotive business and product leaders. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Automotive.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create a detailed analysis of the in-vehicle infotainment landscape, focusing on stakeholders such as Car OEMs, automotive supply-chain partners, and end-users (drivers and passengers). Collaborate with product managers to pinpoint unmet needs and challenges within the market that Dolby can effectively address.
· Formulate, articulate, and enhance the value proposition for the identified audiences - customers, partners, and end-users.
· Stay informed about industry trends and extract pertinent insights for the automotive sector, including synthesizing primary market research and analytical reports.
· Position our offerings strategically in the market, both in relation to our products and those of competitors.
· Develop and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for Dolby's automotive solutions, ensuring the correct sequencing of activities and facilitating organizational understanding and execution of the GTM strategy. Establish objectives for GTM communications.
· Collaborate with Dolby's global and regional marketing teams to implement the GTM strategy effectively.
· Assess the success of the GTM strategy components and make necessary adjustments.
· Identify and drive the development of essential tools to empower the Sales teams.
Required Qualifications:
· A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
· Extensive knowledge of the automotive infotainment sector.
· Proven success in delivering comprehensive lifecycle projects.
· Experience in customer-facing market development roles.
· A history of successfully launching multiple products to market, demonstrating strong product marketing capabilities.
· In-depth understanding of automotive consumers and their purchasing behaviors.
· Capability to manage complexity and simplify it for others.
