Position Overview:
To enhance our operations at the Plattling location, we are seeking a
Test and Certification Engineer (m/f/d) specializing in Electrical Safety for High-Tech Products
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the testing and certification processes for Information Technology Equipment, Audio/Video Devices, Amplifiers, Chargers, and Power Supplies in accordance with international and national standards such as IEC/EN/CSA/UL for our global clientele. Independently manage and execute electrical safety assessments for multiple projects concurrently, adhering to scheduled timelines within our CSA Laboratory or at client locations. Analyze and assess products for compliance with design and construction requirements, develop testing plans, prepare isolation and hazard diagrams, and compile test reports along with necessary certification documentation. Conduct laboratory assessments at client sites in accordance with ISO 17025 standards as an Auditor. Provide support to clients throughout the certification process and assist in estimating certification costs. Innovate and refine measurement methodologies to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.Qualifications:
Completed academic studies or equivalent vocational training as a certified technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, communications, information technology, or a related field, with a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles. Proven experience and expertise in product testing and certification for IT Equipment (IEC/EN/CSA/UL). Proficient in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, systematically, and responsibly. Strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and excellent communication abilities.
