Electrical Engineer for Metering and Electromobility

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at CSA Group. As a Test and Validation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing test plans and offers for customers, executing product-specific tests, and ensuring conformity assessment of electricity meters and charging stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of test plans and offers for customers
  • Independent execution of product-specific tests in the field of electricity meters/smart metering
  • Conformity assessment of electricity meters and charging stations for electromobility (accuracy, software validation)
  • Development of customer-specific problem solutions
  • Preparation of test reports and documentation of the results
  • Maintenance and further development of measurement technology
  • Software evaluation of electricity meters, auxiliary equipment and charging stations in the field of electromobility based on national and international regulations

Requirements:

  • Completed studies or training as an electronics technician with further training as a state-certified technician or master craftsman in electrical engineering, power engineering or comparable with sound electrical engineering knowledge
  • Good knowledge in the field of measurement technology
  • Previous knowledge in the field of software testing is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Independent, systematic and responsible way of working
  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility and strong communication skills
