The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Master's student in the field of Machine Learning for Formulation Optimization. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to cutting-edge research and development within the Dispersions & Resins area.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to accelerate the formulation development process for paints, construction chemicals, adhesives, and other applications.
- Conduct in-depth case studies by selecting relevant descriptors such as raw materials, process parameters, and physico-chemical properties.
- Design statistical experimental plans, characterize formulations, and build predictive models to optimize product performance.
- Analyze the generated models to derive structure-activity relationships and guide iterative improvements in formulation design.
Your Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated interest in data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
