About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at Amazon Deutschland S14 Transport GmbH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team, ensuring that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a Team of Professionals: As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Implement Quality and Productivity Initiatives: You will analyze and implement corrective measures to ensure consistent high-quality and productivity, as well as adherence to company goals and objectives.
  • Support and Develop a Strong Team Culture: You will support and develop a strong team culture, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and open communication.
  • Optimize Processes and Improve Customer Service: You will analyze performance data and make recommendations for process improvements to optimize our operations and improve customer service.
  • Collaborate with Other Managers: You will collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes and ensure seamless operations.
A Day in the Life

As a Logistics Manager, you will work in various shifts at one of our operational sites, focusing on maintaining safety standards, process efficiency, and team management. Your priorities will include routine team management, daily operations, and addressing escalations as needed.

About the Team

Our Customer Fulfillment (CF) team is the backbone of Amazon's business, responsible for fulfilling customer orders. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues from other teams and external partners to ensure that we meet customer expectations and company goals.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Language Skills: Advanced English and German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Experience: Relevant experience in data analysis and logistics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: Experience in communicating with various stakeholders, including colleagues and management
  • Logistics Experience: Experience in a logistics environment
  • MS Office Skills: Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting
