In this position, your tasks will include:
- Developing contemporary infrastructure that facilitates agile data exploration and research for our data science teams.
- Streamlining the processes for data extraction, loading, and transformation from diverse sources.
- Constructing extensive, distributed data sets tailored for specific objectives – from deriving intricate model features from real-time data to consolidating extensive historical data for business intelligence dashboards.
- Converting data science prototypes into robust, production-ready data pipelines.
- Engaging in open communication with clients to comprehend their business needs, pinpoint critical metrics, and outline their data specifications.

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in constructing data sets and pipelines for analytical applications.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Docker.
- Strong expertise in building and optimizing data lakes, distributed datasets, and data pipelines, particularly using Apache Spark.
- Technical acumen in addressing non-functional requirements, including query performance, data integrity, and security.
- A passion for developing sophisticated technical solutions and a willingness to learn.
Additional skills that would be advantageous:
- Familiarity with message queuing and streaming systems, such as Kafka.
