Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global R&D Director to lead our Sensing & Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the R&D global team, driving innovation processes, and aligning with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the R&D global team, including support of innovation processes, investments, and alignment with the business strategy.
  • Implement standardized development structure and processes (APQP) to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze global market trends and competitive developments to support strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement R&D strategy, resource planning, and multi-project management to drive business growth.
  • Drive the optimization and expansion of global structures and processes, ensuring local processes, procedures, and tools align with global standards.
  • Monitor research and development project progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage budgets and forecast costs to ensure alignment with company targets.
  • Implement self-financing cost centers through development funds and sample purchases.
  • Develop and present strategic technology, product, and system roadmaps to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of management experience in R&D within the field of industrial electronic systems.
  • Strong understanding of R&D, material, and manufacturing processes, innovation, and projects in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in multi-project management, financial/cost management, and new business opportunity identification.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50% internationally.
