Job Title: Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team at Luxoft. As a key member of our Software House, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and documenting test automation systems with a focus on applications based on embedded Linux.

Your primary objective will be to create test cases and test plans for our next-generation infotainment product. You will also be responsible for supporting different test activities, such as regression testing, system testing, and end-of-line testing and vehicle testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test automation systems with a focus on embedded Linux applications
  • Create test cases and test plans for the next-generation infotainment product
  • Support regression testing, system testing, and end-of-line testing and vehicle testing
  • Implement, execute, and document test cases
  • Identify effective test strategies for new/existing features and craft test plans accordingly
  • Support development teams to reproduce bugs and verify bug fixes
  • Analyze logs, test specs, and test scripts
  • Vehicle logs analysis, such as DLT logs, Ethernet/CAN logs
  • Requirement analysis and development of test approach

Requirements:

  • Master studies (or equivalent) in electronic engineering, computer science, or a comparable field
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, ideally along with agile principles
  • Experience in manual SW & HW testing
  • Open to learn new technologies and adjust to new ways of working
  • Good communication skills in English (writing & speaking) along with the team spirit
  • Hands-on experience in the automotive domain: CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, Diagnostics, Variant Coding, flashing ECUs, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux: scripting, programming, verification, etc.
  • JIRA / Confluence user
