Currently, our network encompasses Merchant Partners across 25 countries. We are enhancing our approach to expanding the Merchant network and tracking our performance in Merchant operations. This is where your expertise becomes essential.
We are establishing a dedicated team focused on Merchant Finance & Strategy operations to collaborate with our Merchant team counterparts, providing them with support and insights into our performance metrics in this domain. This presents an opportunity for you to become an integral part of our dynamic team as a Manager in Merchant Finance & Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and refine our perspective on Merchant Partners and associated activities from a performance standpoint by constructing a Merchant Profit & Loss statement. Oversee the weekly reporting cycles, ensuring efficient performance reporting to all stakeholders while assisting them in identifying development opportunities or areas requiring closer examination. Collaborate closely with local Merchant teams and business line management, providing them with reports, analyses, and insights to support their initiatives. Develop forecasting methodologies and frameworks for business planning at Wolt. Create financial models and scenarios to facilitate business planning and informed decision-making. Eventually, you may also focus on our other B2B services, such as Wolt Drive and Self Delivery, and establish a similar performance management reporting framework for these and potential future business models.Your Team:
The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team ensures that our senior management, both at the central level and across the 25 countries we operate in, have timely, accurate, and insightful information for decision-making. We aim to assist and challenge our stakeholders to optimize all facets of the business. We are responsible for Wolt's management reporting, P&L analysis, forecasting & budgeting processes, and planning systems. Our stakeholders range from investors and top executives to country and functional leadership, as well as the broader finance team, of which we are an essential part. At Wolt, our decisions are driven by analysis and data, making numerical proficiency a core aspect of our culture. Many individuals at Wolt engage with data daily, including our CEO. In this organization, figures hold significant importance, underscoring the value of your role.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline. 6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in a role overseeing a large customer base. Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Looker, Power BI). Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely in English. Capacity to influence senior leaders while working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
