Position Overview:

As a Corporate Legal Advisor at AppLike Group, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive legal counsel across various facets of our operations. Your expertise will ensure adherence to German, EU, and relevant international legal standards, with a particular emphasis on Data Privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer legal insights and assistance on a diverse array of legal matters, encompassing corporate governance, contractual agreements, employment law, intellectual property rights, data protection (GDPR), and compliance issues.
  • Prepare, assess, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial contracts, including service agreements, partnership contracts, licensing deals, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Stay informed on legislative changes, regulatory updates, and industry trends that could impact the organization’s operations and strategic goals.
  • Formulate and enforce internal policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams, including Human Resources, sales, marketing, and product development, to provide proactive legal advice and risk evaluations.
  • Represent the organization in legal disputes and manage relationships with stakeholders and external legal advisors as necessary.
  • Assist in corporate governance activities, including preparations for board meetings and adherence to governance standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on legal compliance, intellectual property rights, and best practices in data protection.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A law degree from a recognized institution in Germany, ideally with qualification as a German attorney.
  • A minimum of 5 years of legal practice, preferably within the technology sector or in a law firm serving technology clients.
  • Thorough understanding of the legal landscape and regulations affecting the technology sector in Germany and the EU.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and compliance issues, along with a solid grasp of intellectual property and data protection legislation.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities, capable of conveying complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
