Matlab Developer for Renewable Energy Projects

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Matlab developer to join our team at Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG. As a Matlab developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Matlab code for data analysis and visualization, collaborating with team members to design and execute experiments, and analyzing and interpreting data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Matlab code for data analysis and visualization
  • Collaborate with team members to design and execute experiments
  • Analyze and interpret data to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects
  • Assist in the development of software tools and applications using Matlab and Python
  • Support the team in PMO tasks
About You
  • Strong programming skills
  • Python and Matlab experience is an advantage
  • Experience with object-oriented programming is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning is a plus
  • A 6-month internship with a following 6-month bachelor's or master's thesis would be preferred
