- Portfolio Strategy Development: Collaborate with portfolio managers to devise effective hedging strategies that incorporate volatility markets and weather derivatives.

- Interdepartmental Coordination: Maintain effective communication with related units within EWE to coordinate gas-specific matters.
- Database Management: Oversee the database infrastructure related to gas portfolio management, ensuring data clarity and process automation.
- Educational Background: A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (Diploma or Master's) or equivalent qualifications.
- Personal Attributes: Demonstrated self-initiative, a keen interest in understanding complex connections, and a strong affinity for teamwork.
- Analytical Skills: Possess extensive quantitative and analytical capabilities, with a solid grasp of statistical models and methodologies.
- Programming Proficiency: Significant experience in programming (preferably in Python) and proficient in MS Office applications.
- Industry Experience: Ideally, prior experience in the energy or financial sectors, particularly in energy trading or markets.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of both German and English, in written and spoken forms.
