Objective:

As the Retail Operations Specialist at IWC Schaffhausen, your objective is to elevate the brand's visibility and effectiveness in the retail sector by managing and refining all facets of boutique operations. You will guarantee that each store embodies the esteemed image of IWC Schaffhausen, providing an outstanding and uniform customer experience. Your responsibilities include overseeing team performance, inventory management, sales tactics, and operational efficiencies to meet sales goals and achieve operational excellence. You will cultivate a motivated, knowledgeable, and customer-focused team while upholding the highest standards of luxury retail. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving the success of IWC Schaffhausen's retail operations, contributing to the brand's expansion and prestige in the luxury watch industry.

Boutique Operations Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the Retail Operations division.
  • Act as a communication liaison for all boutiques, corporate offices, and internal departments.
  • Develop and prepare presentations, meeting minutes, statistics, and reports.
  • Organize and follow up on meetings as well as internal and external events.
  • Regularly monitor the budget and manage internal departmental orders.
  • Collaborate across departments to prepare, organize, and execute special promotions and boutique openings.
  • Work in conjunction with external agencies and oversee their performance.
  • Independently manage all correspondence in both German and English.
  • Assist the Head of Retail Development.
  • Coordinate new store openings.
  • Oversee travel bookings and manage travel and expense reports.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience as a Retail Operations Specialist or in a comparable managerial position.
  • Strong grasp of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service principles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Analytical thinker with the capability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledgeable in inventory management, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
  • Familiar with retail software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Possess an aesthetic sensibility along with experience in visual merchandising and optimal presentation at the point of sale.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
