Position Overview

We are offering an engaging thesis opportunity focused on the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Mercedes-Benz.

Role Responsibilities

Your work will involve:

  • Designing and developing a system for the automated transmission and visualization of measurement technology data.
  • Ensuring secure and encrypted data transmission through non-persistent connections to a server.
  • Creating a web portal for data visualization, equipped with a rights management system for various stakeholders.
  • Formulating a strategy for data reduction prior to transmission.

The specific topic will be finalized in collaboration with your university and our team.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferably some experience in web development (both front-end and back-end).
  • Initial familiarity with security concepts is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages for software development on Linux.
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
  • A passion for working with Linux systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and comprehension abilities.
  • A proactive and independent working style.
