Mechanical Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our state-of-the-art system, Monipa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceiving and further developing components and prototypes using our in-house FDM/SLA 3D printers and in cooperation with our external CNC manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities- Design and development of electronics, including basic PCB design
- Development and extensive testing of new device components in compliance with Quality and GMP regulations
- Assembly of optical devices while maintaining accurate documentation
- Manage the procurement of CNC parts and other components
- GMP/ISO9001:2015 compliant documentation
- Master's degree in engineering, electronics, medical technology or similar
- At least 2 years of experience
- Proficient in CAD Software (preferred SolidWorks)
- Interest and ability to design and develop components that meet quality standards
- Strong technical understanding of interdisciplinary challenges
- Knowledge of design rules for 3D printing and CNC-compliant modeling
- Basic understanding of electronic components and troubleshooting techniques
- Basic programming skills in Python and C (particularly for Arduino)
- Proficiency in English and basic knowledge in German
