As a Finance Trainee, you'll play a vital role in shaping Orbem's financial processes and ensuring compliance with best practices. You'll work closely with our Director of Finance and a diverse team of over 100 professionals to define, establish, and execute financial processes that support our mission.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting daily operations in all finance areas and taking ownership of specific areas after successful onboarding
- Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes, procedures, and documentation
- Contributing to special projects, such as market entry through subsidiary creation or financial system implementation
- Providing financial analysis to inform effective decision-making
Your Qualifications and Skills
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong academic background in finance and/or accounting. Your skills and experience should include:
- Successful completion of a master's degree in a finance-related field
- Minimum one internship in finance and accounting
- Critical thinking and analytical skills for decision-making
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity
- Proficient knowledge of Google and Microsoft tools
- Fluency in German and English
- Excellent communication skills
What Sets You Apart
We're interested in candidates with multiple internships in finance or finance-related areas and initial experience with daily finance tasks, such as transaction handling within ERP systems.
