Position Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Inventory Operations Supervisor to manage our inventory processes and ensure the effective oversight of our medical device stock. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, refining operational procedures, and guaranteeing the accuracy of our inventory records. This position demands strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute robust inventory management strategies to sustain ideal stock levels while minimizing surplus inventory.
  • Supervise the reception, storage, and distribution of medical devices, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Regularly assess inventory levels and perform audits to confirm the accuracy and reliability of inventory data.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to effectively manage lead times, order quantities, and delivery timelines.
  • Evaluate inventory metrics and trends to uncover opportunities for process enhancements and cost efficiencies.
  • Address and resolve any inventory discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock issues promptly.
  • Implement and sustain inventory management software and systems to boost operational productivity.
  • Compile and present periodic inventory reports to senior leadership, emphasizing key performance indicators and areas for enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with all pertinent regulations and standards, including ISO and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, ideally within the medical device or healthcare sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and software solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
