Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead to join our team at Lucid. As a Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers and overseeing the development of complex Drupal projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers in the development of Drupal projects
  • Oversee the development process, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure project goals are met
  • Develop and implement strategies for site development and maintenance
  • Ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Drupal trends and technologies

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Drupal site building, administration, and custom module development
  • Experience in managing a team of developers and reporting to project team management
  • Working experience with the Drupal 8 and Drupal 9 ecosystem components (Git, Composer, TWIG, Site Building and Module development)
  • Understanding of Drupal architecture and ability to develop a strategy for site development and maintenance
  • Experience with Drupal user interface development, including user experience, theme development, and customization of community themes
  • Experience with migrations and upgrades from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 or Drupal 8 to 9
  • Experience syncing admin changes between multiple environments
  • Ability to code and debug in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DevOps and automation tools (Ansible, Docker, etc.)
  • Knowledge of front-end web user interfaces and web servers
  • Experience with configuration and modification of contributed modules

About Lucid

We are a small development team of 4 developers, working on several projects at a time, organizing ourselves using agile Kanban over our self-hosted GitLab. We manage dedicated servers for our clients with Ansible and share responsibilities in testing and deployment workflows. We strive to improve ourselves and the way we work, experimenting with new tools and ways of working. We are highly result-oriented and looking for people who are too. We value transparency, flat hierarchies, and short decision paths. We discuss issues openly and directly with each other and bring them up as soon as we notice them.
