At ZDF Sparks GmbH, we are embarking on an exciting journey in the realm of AI innovation. We are seeking a full-time (Senior) Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) to contribute to our projects focused on media planning, communication, distribution, and personalization.

Your Responsibilities

As a key member of ZDF Sparks, you will engage in various customer projects, with responsibilities including:

  • Designing, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD workflows for machine learning applications in cloud environments.
  • Developing tools and methodologies to monitor and evaluate the performance of AI solutions deployed in cloud settings.
  • Implementing infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments, leveraging microservices architecture.
  • Streamlining and automating the scaling of infrastructure using the latest cloud technologies.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to define and fulfill MLOps/DevOps needs.
  • Establishing and managing test and production environments in cloud platforms for the deployment of AI products.
Your Qualifications
  • Solid experience in DevOps; familiarity with MLOps is advantageous.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructures, particularly GCP, CI/CD pipelines, containers, Terraform, and CUDA/GPU/TPU applications.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Familiarity with JavaScript and Go is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud migration processes is an additional benefit.
  • Exceptional documentation and communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative spirit with a strong enthusiasm for AI and ongoing learning.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a bonus.
