Senior Redis Cloud Solutions Engineer - Schwarz IT

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled (Senior) Redis Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team at Schwarz IT. In this position, you will focus on the development and enhancement of our cloud database service, specifically the Redis Flex offering. Your role will involve integrating new features to elevate user satisfaction and facilitating the establishment of additional database solutions within our cloud infrastructure. You will also oversee the management of various technical systems to ensure the smooth operation of the cloud environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams on the overall system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and develop the Redis Flex cloud database service
  • Integrate new features aimed at improving user satisfaction
  • Assist in the deployment of additional database solutions on the cloud platform
  • Oversee technical systems for cloud environment management
  • Collaborate with various teams on system architecture (Container Orchestration, Operators, Monitoring & Alerting, Logging)
Candidate Profile:
  • Extensive experience with Redis database technology
  • Familiarity with Redis clustering methodologies
  • Proficient in Kubernetes
  • Enthusiasm for emerging technologies related to Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes
  • Effective communication skills in both German and English
