We are seeking a highly skilled Air Freight Import Specialist to join our team at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our air freight import team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of air freight shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with airlines and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments
- Process customs declarations and arrange for customs inspections as needed
- Manage and maintain accurate records of shipments using in-house software
- Prepare and process invoices for customers
- Monitor transit times and ensure prompt resolution of any issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any transport damage or liability issues
Requirements:
- Relevant professional experience in air freight import or a related field
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Proficient in MS Office products and other relevant software
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
