IT Product Portfolio Manager (m/w/d) in the Public Sector

HannIT serves as the strategic IT partner for the Hannover region, collaborating with cities, municipalities, and regional utilities and transport companies. We are seeking two Product Portfolio Managers to establish the Competence Center for Product Management and IT Service Product Management.

  • Define and organize services and use cases for both new and existing IT offerings.
  • Develop financial models, contracts, and proposal templates for IT services.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis, designing innovative IT services aligned with market trends.
  • Create profitability evaluations and feasibility studies presented as business plans.
  • Assess current IT services and formulate appropriate action plans for service enhancement throughout their lifecycle.
  • Assist in organizing informational events for hannIT.

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics, Administrative Informatics, or alternatively, a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist.
  • Strong expertise in product management, pricing strategies, and a solid understanding of economic and IT-related frameworks.
  • Desirable: technology-agnostic IT knowledge (e.g., Applications, End User Devices, Network, Virtualization, Cloud).
