Role Overview:
The Product Manager - SD-WAN and Security is tasked with shaping GTT's product strategy, overseeing development and execution, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and customer needs. This role encompasses various product areas, including Managed SD-WAN, Managed Security, SSE, SASE, and Professional Services.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the managed and professional services product line, aiming to create a scalable and sustainable business model.
- Foster innovation within the product portfolio and across divisions to maintain competitive market positioning, pricing strategies, and product structures.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous product enhancements.
- Analyze long-term client market trends and develop product strategies to maintain competitiveness.
- Collaborate with product marketing and communications teams to create effective product positioning, messaging, and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Engage in thought leadership and strategic communication activities, representing GTT at industry conferences and with analysts.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring products effectively address customer needs and challenges. Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers to gather valuable feedback and insights.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to guide product decisions and uphold a competitive advantage.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to inform product development decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Product Management role within a global telecommunications or managed services environment.
- Familiarity with the product portfolio, including SD-WAN, Managed Security, DDoS Mitigation, firewalling, CASB, SWG, and ZTNA.
- Understanding of multinational enterprise networking, security, and computing requirements, with experience engaging with C-suite executives in global enterprises.
- Insight into the competitive landscape.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align product initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and collaborate across various organizational levels.
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of prioritizing and executing tasks in a dynamic environment while providing direction to teams.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCIE, CISSP, CISM).
- Certifications in Product Management training.
