Your Responsibilities

As the Head of Digital Solutions, you will be the visionary behind our digital initiatives. You will oversee the strategic and operational management of multiple interdisciplinary teams and projects. Your primary objective will be the successful execution of innovative digitization projects in data and experience management (PIM, DAM, MDM, DXP, CDP, CMS). Leveraging your expertise in Pimcore and project management, you will ensure timely, budget-conscious project completions that meet and exceed client expectations. Collaborating closely with fellow Unit Heads, you will devise comprehensive strategies and guide your teams toward excellence. You will assess success metrics and foster the ongoing development of your teams, driving our digital transformation forward.

Key Focus Areas: You should cover at least two of the three focus areas: consulting, leadership, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation: You will cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key clients to accurately understand their needs and objectives. With your extensive knowledge of digitization strategies and solutions, particularly in data and experience management, you will provide counsel to our clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that surpass their expectations and enhance satisfaction. Regular updates and reviews with clients will enable you to monitor project progress and swiftly address any challenges.

Team Leadership: You will lead 2-3 interdisciplinary teams, ensuring their motivation, coordination, and alignment with goals. By nurturing a collaborative and innovative team culture, you will facilitate continuous learning and improvement. You will establish clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and offer constructive feedback. Additionally, you will support the professional growth and development of team members through mentoring, training, and career advancement opportunities.

Technical Expertise: Utilizing your extensive technical knowledge (preferably in Pimcore), project management skills, and client communication abilities, you will assist teams in the successful execution of digitization projects. By staying abreast of current trends and technologies in data and experience management, you will ensure that teams are equipped with cutting-edge solutions. You will oversee the technical planning, execution, and enhancement of projects to uphold the highest quality standards, confidently addressing complex technical challenges and providing solutions that boost project efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and leading interdisciplinary teams, ideally within a digital agency or IT sector.

Expertise: Profound understanding of data management and experience management; strong knowledge of utilizing Pimcore, PHP, Symfony, and other relevant technologies.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in strategically guiding and developing teams; ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive technical knowledge (desirable in all aspects of Pimcore), with the capability to develop and assess solutions.

Project Management: Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.

Client Focus: Outstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Strategic Insight: Capability to formulate and implement strategies in collaboration with other leaders.

Performance Evaluation: Experience in analyzing and optimizing KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
