Cultivation Lead

At Tilray Brands, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cultivation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our cultivation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient growth of our plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Cultivation Supervisor to mentor and oversee the performance of production technicians, maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant workplace.
  • Care for the plants in cultivation, ensuring their health and quality.
  • Supply fertilizer and water using an irrigation system, ensuring optimal plant growth.
  • Maintain accurate batch records and documentation, ensuring timely entry and completion of tasks and processes.
  • Submit labour tracking data and matrices to the Cultivation Supervisor for review and verification.
  • Evaluate worker safety, quality, SOP compliance, and schedule status, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety.
  • Provide leadership for problem and conflict resolution, executing plant production activities with Supervisors.
  • Ensure greenhouse sanitation and minor cleaning are performed as needed by Cultivation Technicians during the crop cycle, in coordination with the Cultivation Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or trained gardener (Master diplom).
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a greenhouse or agriculture.
  • Strong observational skills and prioritization of tasks.
  • Strong leadership skills and desire to learn.
  • Ability to accurately document weights and measures.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Ability to continuously learn and implement Standard Operational Procedures, GACP- and Good Manufacturing Practices compliance.
