We are in the process of expanding and are seeking to enhance our customer team with a FTI Harness Designer (m/w/d) in Weßling.

The role involves FTI for both legacy and new development aircraft. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining 3D routings for electrical harnesses in aircraft;
  • Ensuring compliance with harness installation specifications on aircraft;
  • Developing and maintaining databases for electrical components and parts lists;
  • Conducting Design to Cost analyses to optimize designs;
  • Producing detailed harness designs, including flattening and BOM for manufacturing.

Candidate Profile

  • You possess training in electrical systems or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in harness routing and flattening, along with initial exposure to FTI harness routing.
  • A solid understanding of EWIS regulations is essential;
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 software is required;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German is advantageous;
  • You demonstrate versatility and self-motivation in FTI-related roles;
  • Your teamwork, analytical abilities, and interpersonal skills will be vital assets in your role.
