Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace applications, including electrical harnesses and routing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design and manufacturing methods into product concepts and designs.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of aerospace standards and specifications, including AC43.13-1B, ATA chapter 20, ATA 100, S1000D, ARP4754A, and DO160.
- Work with instrumentation design and routing in the context of aerospace.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of electrical 2D and 3D drawing tools, including Capital Graphics, NX schematics, and NX.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of PDM/PLM systems, including Teamcenter.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality designs and meet project deadlines.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of harness routing and installations rules.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of redundancy, segregations, protections, band radius, attachment, marking, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of aerospace experience, with good understanding of a Part 21J design organization environment.
- Experience with electrical harness design and routing in the context of aerospace.
- Knowledge of electrical 2D drawing tools, such as Capital Graphics, NX schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical 3D drawing tools, such as NX.
- Knowledge of aerospace standards and specifications, including AC43.13-1B, ATA chapter 20, ATA 100, S1000D, ARP4754A, and DO160.
- Experience with instrumentation design and routing in the context of aerospace.
- Demonstrable knowledge and ability to integrate design and manufacturing methods into product concepts and designs.
- Good knowledge of harness routing and installations rules.
- Basic knowledge with PDM/PLM systems, including Teamcenter.
- High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously.
- Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language is beneficial.
