Research EnvironmentOur institute is equipped with a modern psychiatric research hospital, facilitating innovative research across various domains, including neurobiology, clinical studies, and computational methods. The aim is to enhance patient outcomes through the integration of basic and clinical neuroscience.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Stress Resilience research group, focusing on:
- Accurate quantification of behavioral traits using advanced artificial intelligence techniques.
- Development and maintenance of the DeepOF Python package for pose estimation analysis in rodents.
- Creation of new algorithms for both supervised and unsupervised analysis of animal motion.
- Extension of software capabilities to accommodate various animal models and multimodal data integration.
- Collaboration with international research teams utilizing the developed software.
Applicants should possess:
- A PhD in biology, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Python programming, with package development experience being advantageous.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience in time series analysis and processing.
- A strong interest in the biological underpinnings of stress-related disorders.
- The ability to work autonomously and effectively communicate in English.
