We are looking for a skilled **Purchasing Specialist (m/w/d)** to enhance our Strategic Procurement team within the Construction sector. This role is pivotal in managing diverse procurement processes and contributing to the development of one of Europe's leading university hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Autonomous preparation, thorough execution, and documentation of procurement processes in accordance with Public Procurement Law and internal guidelines on an eProcurement platform.
- Conducting price inquiries and evaluating offers for compliance and accuracy.
- Generating purchase orders in SAP for construction and design services, as well as goods and services.
- Providing support and guidance to departments regarding contract awards and related tender documentation.
- Managing organizational tasks and facilitating communication and negotiations with suppliers.
- Proactively addressing issues as they arise.
- Adhering to established process flows and enhancing existing workflows within your area of responsibility.
- Approving orders in SAP and resolving invoice discrepancies when necessary.
- Engaging in supplier management activities.
- Commercial or technical training or degree.
- Experience in procurement, particularly with public sector clients, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with procurement laws and regulations (including GWB, VgV, VOL/UVgO, and VOB), and preferably BerlAVG and related regulations (BGB, HGB, LHO).
- Background in purchasing construction and design services or related goods and services.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP MM/PM is a plus.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and results-driven work ethic.
- Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility and dependability.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
The competitive salary is aligned with the collective agreement of Charité CFM, with classification based on qualifications and experience.
